Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho Buys New Building and Unveils New Brand Positioning [Boise, Idaho], January. 9, 2018 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho has purchased a new building in conjunction with brand repositioning to achieve the goal of recruiting more volunteers and helping even more families. “The new building and the new brand go hand in hand,” says CEO, Emily Johnson. “We know there is work to be done in our community and we are ready to roll up our sleeves and get to defending the potential of every child here in the Treasure Valley. Owning our building communicates a sense of stability to the families and volunteers as we take our program to the next level.” |
The organization is intentionally pivoting from messages of the importance of mentoring, to messages of the urgent need for the adults in the community to step up to defend the potential of every child. The mission will remain the same, as will the core model of building bridges in communities by connecting one adult with one child and supporting that match at every stage, but the organization will focus on a child’s potential, and our role as adults in helping children achieve their best possible futures. |
