Every year, Scentsy selects a non-profit to be the beneficiary for their annual Rock-A-Thon.
We are so honored and thrilled to be this year's beneficiary!

For the last 6 years, thousands of people have rocked for a cause and Scentsy's contribution has impacted six different non-profits. This year, on September 18th, it is time to Rock for Kids' Sake benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters!

Scentsy will line the sidewalk on Eagle Road between Pine Avenue and Commercial Street in Meridian with 70 socially distanced rocking chairs to raise awareness and money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho.

It doesn’t get much easier than that. Scentsy will donate $250 per chair, per hour, for 12 hours as long as the chairs are in motion. The funds raised through rocking will go towards paying off Big Brothers Big Sisters' office building - a BIG step towards ensuring sustainability for BBBS. Ultimately, making sure that every kid that wants a mentor will get one!

Please note that time slots are limited and, while we will do our best to seat people as a group, the larger the group, the more likely we may have to split you up. We ask that every person selects their slot individually and signs our waiver.

Bowl for kids' sake update

Picture
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Big Brothers Big Sisters was faced with cancelling our annual fundraising event, Bowl For Kids' Sake.  Just because we can't bowl, doesn't mean we can't have this event... we just had to get more creative as to how we hold it!

When Scentsy awarded us the Rock-A-Thon we thought this was the perfect opportunity to change things up - rather than Bowl for Kids' Sake we decided this year we can Rock for Kids' Sake.

While the Rock -A-Thon funds will go towards paying off our building, Rock For Kids' Sake funds will go directly towards our program and our mission. Our mission is to c
reate and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth
We would be so grateful for your individual/team fundraising efforts! It's as easy as...
  1. Form a fundraising team (or get your entire company/organization/friend group to participate) and register by clicking here or the link below. When you register, you will get a donation portal just for you and your team to accepts donations.
  2. Start your fundraising activities - host a virtual fun run, have an office raffle, or a best pet selfie competition! Be creative and share your ideas so we can show off your genius!
  3. Come and celebrate your fundraising success at the Scentsy Rock-A-Thon (registration for that is above). Any team that raises $500 or more will be listed as a sponsor!
